I AM A NON-ALCOHOL SPONSOR
NON-LICENSED SPONSOR AND EXHIBITOR ALCOHOL SERVICE
If you are a non-licensed/ non-alcohol sponsor and plan to serve alcohol at the Festival, you will need to make arrangements with the Festival (connect with your SM for guidance) to discuss all details. You will then need to hire a NYCWFF PREFERRED CATERER to facilitate this part of your activation.
PREFERRED VENDORS
Please visit the NYCWFF preferred vendors list to secure a licensed caterer that can assist you with permitting and any alcohol activations during the festival.
POURING GUIDELINES
Sponsors agree that pouring of beverage alcohol samples at Festival tasting events must be done by:
Wholesalers or suppliers, as defined under NYSLA Advisory 2015-17, holding a N.Y. Supplier/Wholesaler Marketing Permit and their authorized agents; and/or
Licensed caterers holding a N.Y. Caterer’s Permit for the event. Copies of the relevant permits must be displayed on-site for inspection.
At the Grand Tasting, wine samples should be limited to one (1) ounce or less and spirit samples should be limited to one quarter (1/4) ounce.
Pouring may also be performed by the licensed sponsor’s personnel, provided each individual donates their time to the host charities. Personnel donating their time will receive a thank you letter from the Festival charities –God’s Love We Deliver.
Please note all pouring at unlicensed venues will be conducted by appropriate trained/experienced personnel engaged by the licensed caterer to ensure compliance.
Sponsors agree that at no time may alcoholic beverage bottles, open or sealed, on Festival premises be distributed to patrons, third parties or licensees in contravention of New York State liquor regulations.
Should sponsor wish to order additional staffing, sponsor is responsible for contracting directly with one of the Festival’s licensed caterers and for all related costs.
All products must be removed after the events. No product (whether unopened or opened) will be left with any retailer after the events.
For any supplier serving a drink containing fresh garnishes, or a product that was originally factory sealed, (cherries, olives, etc.) the supplier will be required to hold a Temporary Food Service Establishment AND Food Handler Certificate Permits.
